G'day, I'm David, pictured here on the right with my young brother, Ewan. From the links below, you may guess that I am very much
into motorcycles. This picture was taken on the Great Ocean Road, when I still had my Kawasaki ZX6R. Unfortunantly, that is no more
as I was T-boned by a nice 82 year old lady in the midday sun. I am told that I travelled approximately 30 ft through the air, but I have no memory of the accident. I was in a lot of pain afterwards, although I only suffered a broken wrist and angle. I have some photos of what remains of my bike.
Some of my favourite roads in Australia are The Great Ocean Road (of course), the Yarra Boulevard and the Black Spur in Southern Victoria, and the Cotter Road and Kings Highway near Canberra. These roads seem quite popular to motorcyclists of all ages and types, and therefore there is generally a large police presence at peak times.
One of my other favourtie activites is reading, and my current favourite authors are Anne Rice and Robin Cook. Currently, I'm interested in vampire / witches, which leads to some very entertaining reading!

I am currently working in Melbourne, and I am about to move to Chicago. However, I was born in a little known town called Mildura. It now even has it's own home page. Mildura is located in the top north east of Victoria on the Murray River. The Murray-Darling River is 2,310 miles long. Mildura has a population of approx. 18,000 people, and the district has approx. 38,000 people. Mildura's main industries include citrus, wine and dried fruits.
The irrigation system was set up by the Canadian Chaffey brothers. Before coming to Australia, they help set up the irrigation system for Uplands, California. They then came to Australia and setup the irrigation system at Renmak in South Australia and finally settled in Mildura. Unfortunantly, the wealth of the Chaffey family was all destroyed in the depresion 1930.
The wineries that are located in the district are Lindermans, Mildara, Stanley, Trentham Cliffs and Buronga Hill.
