G'day, I'm David, pictured here on the right with my young brother, Ewan.
From the links below, you may guess that I am very much into motorcycles.
This picture was taken on the Great Ocean Road, when I still had my Kawasaki
ZX6R. Unfortunately, that is no more as I was T-boned by a nice 82 year old
lady in the midday sun. I am told that I traveled approximately 30 ft through
the air, but I have no memory of the accident. I was in a lot of pain afterwards,
although I only suffered a broken wrist and angle. I have some
images
of what remains of my bike and of the car that hit me.
Some of my favourite roads in Australia are The Great Ocean Road (of course), the Yarra Boulevard and the Black Spur in Southern Victoria, and the Cotter Road and Kings Highway near Canberra. These roads seem quite popular to motorcyclists of all ages and types, and therefore there is generally a large police presence at peak times.
One of my other favourtie activities is reading, and my current favourite authors are Anne Rice and Robin Cook. Currently, I'm interested in vampire / witches, which leads to some very entertaining reading!
